Had the sales lady in Germany tell me that the reason it had a skidplate on the front was because they were such a better 4WD vehicle that it needed that protection up front. I didn't want to tell her it was due to the IFS frontend cause she was so proud of it. It was everything I could do not to laugh at her.
The 4 door Mitsu Montero were pretty nice rigs and competed with the 4 Runner of that era.
This weird little lorrie is a 61 Thames ( Ford owned them ) .
This screams British , but the left hand drive throws me off unless it was for export.
