Man, this would be a FUN project & a great candidate for a 12V 5.9 diesel swap.

1967 W300 Dodge Power Wagon

U S Department of the Navy truck.
318 poly V8 engine is free but hasn’t run in over 20 years
4 speed manual transmission.
9’ utiline bed.
Dana 70 single wheel axles.
I was told that it came with 5:18 gears however the rear axle was rebuilt with 4:88 about 25 years ago because the shop couldn’t find 5:18’s.
Some rust on front cab mounts and rockers. Wood bed is rotten.

I’ve owned this truck for 35 years. Used mostly on our ranch in northern New Mexico before I parked it about 20 years ago.

58,473 miles

VIN # 2381709292

I have a clean title in my name.

$4,000

That 'old warrior' is begging you to 12valve it . . . . 🛻 💪

Here's an elegant beauty from my daily Hagerty email. 1937 Delahaye 135M Roadster Cabriolet in Grande Luxe. I've never heard of it before, and it's a little out of my norm, but it's a good looking car.

From the article: "It has an agile chassis and a high-compression, 120-hp, 3.5-liter inline-six fitted with three downdraft Solex carburetors. The engine is paired with a four-speed, electric-shift gearbox by Cotal, making the 135 a competitive race car and a spirited road vehicle."

A resto-mod Galaxy done right. This one dances all over my love-hate feelings of resto-mods. I do love this one. It's done well enough that I think it will slip by most. I'm guessing @Squatch can see it, and maybe a few others of you.

The oversize wheels jump out at me (though they're tastefully done), but the "390" in there ain't like any FE motor I've ever seen! That is all sorts of clever! I don't know anything at all about LS motors, but I'm guessing that what's in there. It isn't so much that I know what an LS motor looks like, as much as I know what a 390 looks like. Like I said, very clever! (y)

It is, and beautifully disguised. I've seen a few cars locally with that mechanical distributor conversion (which is a GM Performance parts kit) and Gen I/II HEMI valve covers. A passing glance and most people don't know the difference.

Here's an LS with 409 covers.

And here's one done-up to look like a traditional factory SBC

This is the kind of resto-mod stuff I like. The things that look factory, with a modern twist. Stuff that you really have to pay attention to the details.
