I have to say, I'm a Honda fan. I'd love to drive a S800

Probably drives pretty nice! It can't weigh much...

I found a few sources saying they weight around 1700 lbs.

For 71 h.p. that little bugger must rev to the moon!

8,500 redline for the S800, 9,500 for the S600. Looks like it makes peak hp at 8,000. :) That's impressive. The Integra Type R of the late '90s redlined at 8,700
 
This 58 Rambler Super wagon showed up at the car show I had the Ural in today.

I let the owner know that my Dad's fingerprints were on it because he started at AMC in 58 and that his car made my day. We had a black and red 59 Cross Country wagon when I was a kid. A lot of great memories of that old Rambler.

I've always loved the '58 and '59 Ramblers, with the Cross Country wagons being my favorite. I owned a '59 4-door sedan, and like you, grew up with a Rambler in our family. Actually, several, as I recall. My uncle worked at Natale American (we called it Natale Rambler) in Saratoga Springs, New York.
