A Local MoPar guy has some of his cars sitting out. I was hoping to see his '72 'Cuda (silver and black vinyl top, black interior 340 4-speed car  ), but he's either driving it or has it hidden inside.

He does love his Keystone Classics, doesn't he?
Not sure which one I like more...the '68 Barracuda notchback, or the '70/'71 Dart Swinger. Both are sharp lookin' rides!

ON THIS DAY IN 1956, CHRYSLER INTRODUCED RECORD PLAYERS MOUNTED UNDER THE DASHBOARD
READ ABOUT THE INTRODUCTION HERE:
https://www.mentalfloss.com/.../highway-hi-fi-chrysler...

On this date in 1956, the Chrysler Corporation introduced high fidelity record players for their 1956 line-up of cars (Oct 12, 1956).

The unit measured about four inches high and less than a foot wide and mounted under the instrument panel.

The seven inch discs spun at 16 2/3 rpm and required almost three times the number of grooves per inch as an LP.

A set of 35 classical recordings were available that provided between 45 and 60 minutes of uninterrupted music. The players would be discontinued in 1961.
