The old design hood safety latch and the heater controls are 2 of the most obvious differences. Electronics wise, I'm pretty sure the O2 sensors are different too.

I'm not sure. These are very rare from what I've seen in real life but they are out there. There was a rough one for sale here in WA last week for $15K.
