Car pics too cool not to share

I had a red one when I was young, stupid and poor. It had a burnt valve and I never could afford to fix it, I traded it in on a Toyota Hilux

Like my 57 Chevy. It needed work and I was young & dumb. Funny thing is I traded it for a new 84 Toyota p/u 4x4.

Yeah , I need to see more photos before I can realistically weigh in.
In this photo I vote for Photoshop shenanigans , especially below the beltline and around the wheelwells.

This is a case of this is a true masterpiece or true deception.
I'd be willing to concede there might be some photoshop in the mix but I think the base paintjob could be entirely legit...

It looks like something Mike Lavellee could have painted...

Or Igor Makarov

And those are just the 2 that I know of with the tallent to accomplish something like that.. although Mike Lavelle died in 2020 I think??

Here's a car that ended up being more interesting than I thought it would be mainly because it's not a Checker Cab and could even be a fake taxi considering the almost new condition it currently displays.

The current owner drove if from Quebec Canada to Ohio for a traffic light meet. It's a former taxi from New York City driven only by the owner-operator that obviously took great care of it AND didn't even drive it in the city's slush and snow. Only two changes since it was bought by the second owner, 1) the metal thing (wish I knew the term) on the roof has replaced the worn looking plastic one. 2) the first beaded seat cover in this car, I guess it wasn't needed by the owner-operator of a 13 yr old taxi with less than 100,000 miles on the clock.

FWIW, the only damage I saw is in the 4th picture, that poor front fender  :ROFLMAO:

And I saw this one about a year ago. I wish I could have had a better look at it but this is all I got.
