The rubber band tires and lights zip tied to the frame really takes me back 15-20 years. I remember the truck guys running around like that on the street.

May have a great bumper, but could be a "headlight-delete" ride. Sometimes it's a compromise... ;)

Right in my back yard. Can't believe how much this show has grown.

Pickups are the one ride where the oversized rims tend to look acceptable to me. I've always liked slammed trucks, from the imports, all the way up to a domestic 1-ton dually. Yes, it throws practicality out the window, but that's the price you pay for looking good. Now what I'd really like to see is a slammed GMC with a big 305 V6 in it...:sneaky:
 
The wheel is on the correct side in this one.

Does anyone else have a problem with the fact that the front wheels are much more "deep-dish" than the rears? I'm used to seeing exactly the opposite: deep-dish rears, shallow fronts. Now that I've seen the wheel set-up on that '69, it just looks totally bass-ackwards to me. What say y'all?
