Car pics too cool not to share

Since it's so hot , even in the mountains today , how about some old snow plow photos to look at and think of cooling off !

Slow down and smell the Roses... Fuck you wear a damn dress you should be smelling all the flowers you can.

Some Mavericks came with the I-6 and others had a V-8... So which ones were you trying to pass?

Hell if I know now - or then. I just remember them being in my way. Maverick = slow, Capri = fast! And its a damn SKIRT, get your terminology right! :D ;)

The Volkswagen Type 166, better known as the Schwimmwagen, shown with its canvas up and engine cover opened. The Schwimmwagen is a really cool amphibious car that was very popular among anyone who got their hands on one during the war. They had a smooth bottom, a boat-shaped body and a propeller at the rear. They were powered by a rear-mounted air-cooled boxer engine. https://militaryhistoria.com/schwimmwagen/1722590300180.png

I don't doubt it's a real car but I stand by my comment about the first and second image in both Rick's post and your link...

The shading on the bumper among other things, screams this is a rendering... not an actual picture.

Still something funky with that posted image though, I say. 🤨

I think it's photo shoot lighting and staging that might be throwing things off. I think you can even see the edge of the background in the bumper. (straight line under tail light)

The original one, particularly that engine compartment shot. I realize from the B-J listing that it, in fact, looks kind of like that, but still something off about how it looks in that first picture.

While reading up on this accident, I discovered that two wienermobiles have had accidents in my stompin' grounds of Pennsylvania. I'll chalk that up to the absolute shit roads in the commonwealth. Quote of the day, "We would not relish the responsibility of telling our boss we damaged the wiener."
