Buddy at work had one. At least they stayed rear wheel drive. Beyond that...

I wouldn't mind having one to drive around as a commuter, as I still love the rwd platform. However, I'd remove the Challenger emblems, and just let people wonder wth it is.

For some bizarre reason, I really like this and the price is fantastic. But WTF is up with the dash?

The foam inside those dashes are downright notorious for drying out and shrinking, thereby causing the warpage you see there. I had a friend who was into the "square birds" ('58-'60), and this was so common that it was almost a given.

I totally agree with Zorba and I kinda knew what what up with the dash. And thanks to Squatch for filling us in on how common it was to him. I have seen a few that were "drying out and shrinking" but I've never seen anything so warped. I wonder if that bad has something to do with stuff out west like too hot and too much sun. Of course it could be that so many cars of that era rusted to death around here that the only ones I saw were babied, if not totally restored.

For some reason I got the tubes from the edge of some TJ flat fenders being used to build a metal version of that dashboard floating around in my head.
