Zorba would appreciate the VW Rabbit truck more.
It at least has a usable bed and enough h.p. ( in that 4 banger FWD kinda way) to be a fun little econ o truck.

Those are called a "Caddy", which is not the first thing I think of when I hear that name. Then again, neither is this (a second-gen Caddy)...

Yep. Me too. Had one of these (same year, same wheels in white) for about 10 years. Loved it.

I'm a fan of Volvo wagons. I've only owned one Volvo thus far...a '65 544 with a little 2.8 Cologne V-6 in it. Fender well headers, Weber carb, 90 louvers punched in hood, dropped frontend, and blue-dot tail light lenses. Loved that car! I would like to own a Volvo wagon before my time is up. I've always thought they looked good (nothing on 'em that wasn't needed), and also think they doll-up pretty sweet, too.

Yeah! From the sound of it, you’ve had quite a few cars. Based on my interpretation of your tastes, you might like a 240. Someone in the northeast used to sell a SBC conversion kit for 240s that I always lusted after when we had ours. What do you think of an LS in a stock looking 240 wagon? I’m thinking custom widened stock wheels like in the pic I posted and slightly lowered. Cool or sacrilege? Maybe I’ll do that when I finish my TJ…

How about a 1965 Volvo wagon that ( gasp) LS swapped!

My 544 had the stock rear wheels widened to 8", and ran the stock hubcaps all the way around. Love that look.
As for cars, yeah, I've had a few. Last count was over 300 (around 320-ish, if'n I recall correctly). Automobiles are the one thing in life that I actually understand...
