PO removed carpet and pad from jeep. I found out yesterday with several mile trip on local interstate. Air temperatures 100+ !!
Anyone have any experience with a carpet kit, that has an insulation blanket?

I use BedRug with Weather Tech floor liners throughout.

BedRug or ACC carpets are the 2 best choices. ACC offers mass backing as an option. They also offer multiple color choices. BedRug does not have much in the way of insulation so you will need to use an additional layer. I have the Bedrug with CSI insulation underneath and can barely feel any heat through the floor.

I used a low cost carpet kit,
and sound deadener to insulate the floor pan
Then put Rugged Ridge floor mats in

I will say yes BedRug is better but also 4x the cost. This served the purpose well for me with a can of 3M 90

I just installed bedrug in my '99, I can't say enough how good the quality is. I put adhesive heat barrier stuff on the trans tunnel and on the floorboards, works great.
