CB radio apps?

Haven't heard of these. @StG58, have you played around with these? Of anyone I would think you would have.

I don't get it though... How can it work if there is no cell service?

It’s actually just a push to chat social network. Not citizens band. It would do no good on the trail. It just mimics CB.

Oh, then my brother-in-law uses something similar (with the push to talk feature) and he really loves it. He's not using it for off-roading or anything, but he's been using it for years just to chat with his friends.
