Do you mean the little tit that locates the hinge? Or the missing rivet?

The plastic piece that holds the hinge to the lid. It broke a few days ago and now the lid won’t operate like it should. I tried search crown automotive and RockAuto for parts and hardware but came up empty.

It looks like it's just a rivet. It should be avaialble anywhere

Yes sir that will work fine..find the rivet that fits the hole tightly and make sure it has the correct grip range and you will be fine

I'd double down and drill out the other side and replace both with metric riv nuts.

Then you could remove it for cleaning.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I went to harbor freight picked up the river tool and replaced it with a plastic rivet
