I have a very lightly used Kicker 6.75” CompRT (48CWRT672) and Kicker 200W amp (PXA200.1). I purchased these new to upgrade my center console subwoofer. I ended up doing a complete overhaul of my Jeeps audio system so it’s time for these to find a new home. Great for anyone looking to boost their Jeeps sound system without breaking the bank. Fits right into the factory center console with minimal adjustments.

Is this the speaker and amp that will replace the speaker and amp that's in a 2005 console.? Does the amp fit in the console or does it have to mount elsewhere.?

While you can power this sub off the factory amp, you will get more power if you use an aftermarket amplifier. There is no room for this amp to be placed in the center console so you would need to find another spot for it. Luckily this Kicker amp is small so it will easily fit under a seat or below the steering column on the drivers side.

If your Jeep came with the factory sub option then yes, this sub should fit but you will need to make some slight modifications. Nothing hard and no special tools needed. Just have to remove some plastic webbing inside the box.
