Hello guys I just replaced the ignition rail on my 2001 Jeep TJ sport and when I did now the oil pressure gauge is going up and then immediately goes down and the check gauge light is on. There is also a noise that is like a little "brrrrrat" like some paper in a fan. Any idea of what might be going on.

I did accidentally flood it but I don't see how that would mess up the oil pump.
Maybe it was bad to begin with I did just assume I got an engine light from the ignition rail.

Since you moved the electrical harness to replace the coil rail.... take a look at the harness that is routed behind the valve cover that wraps around the drivers side of the valve cover. There is a threaded head stud at the drivers rear corner that can rub thru the harness split wire loom and wiring insulation causing the signals to and from the ECU and sensors to short to ground...
This is a common problem on many TJs...
I slipped an old rubber spark plug boot over the threaded section of the stud to stop this from occurring.
