Chris, have you explored AZ?

Oh yes, I'm very fascinated by the mines, so this is something I really want to do, scope out as many as I safely can!

I would love that, so would my oldest daughter.

We went in the lava tubes in Bend, Oregon that go down 2 miles into the ground. That was so much fun. You have to bring flashlights, and it gets COLD as hell down there, but we loved it.

Bit of a drive... but joshua tree has tons of mines... brooklyn mine being the most well known.

Btw.. welcome to the southwest.

I’ll have to put that on the list as well.

I used to live in Arizona from 2008-2012. Unfortunately back then I was younger and only interested in chasing if women. Now that I am older and into exploring like this, I see that I missed out on so much!

I'll have to check this place out as well!

Barrett Jackson is fun to check out, even though I can't afford anything there

Stopped there last year on our way Santa Fe for Christmas, cool town and the donkeys were a blast.

Do they still do the gunfight act in Old Tuscon.

I've heard they do have the gun fight! Another thing I need to check out.

Sign me UP!
I’ve spent some time outside of your neck of the woods too 😉 Atolia, Johannesburg, Mt. Baden-Powell. Most of this stuff was around Victorville and San Bernardino.

This was a 300’ slope

There were pits strewn all over the desert.

This was the Big Horn Mine. A popular spot, but one I wanted to see while I was in the area.

This is the entrance to the mine. An old mill at the end of a two mile hike.
