Hi Lgends,

So while browsing older service history records, there's a record saying diffs have had water in them. Previous owner hasn't taken it off road so my guess is it's come through seals in a rain. And for that to happen, breather hose must have been clogged?

Or they had flooding on the roads, said "meh, I've got a Jeep", and drove through 4 feet of water.

I'd just replace the hoses and breathers

You can replace the breather hoses if there are cracks in the hose, but test the breather before replacing them.
Checking if it functions properly is what I was thinking as well. For that, do I simply remove it from the axle end and just blow with mouth to see if it's moving air?

It should seal with no pressure on it and lift when you push air thru it....
I am not getting caught up in the obscene responses if I were to use the other wording... :ROFLMAO:
