I have a clunking sound at or near the rear differential. The u-joints seem OK, I can hear the clunking during shifting & driving on a bumpy road. If I engage 4 wheel drive the clunky sound is gone, quiet as a church.
(I've already changed the transmission mount) I've read about the angry sparrow but the noise is not a chirp it's a definite clunking sound.
Anyone else ever have this problem?
