So I was driving my TJ it was completely fine and then after I dumped the clutch the clutch pedal goes limp and it has no resistance at all. No springing us just completely swinging back-and-forth. What do you guys think the issue could be and do you think I could fix it myself.

Are you sure that it’s not the cable that snapped

No cable, check the pedal/plunger linkage.

Drop one of these into the clutch reservoir?

But seriously, the guys above gave good info. It is a bitch to get to, but easy fix once you've contorted into the right spot.

Yeah, I’m pretty familiar with having to do that to access things behind the dash I spent hours trying to find a leak in my jeep just to never find it

Sounds like a good idea if I had the tools to do it but right now I am in college so I don’t really have my dad’s tools

There are three bolts with a 13MM (1/2") 6 point head and one, T50 I torx bit head + 3/8 ratchet. Whatever harbor freight has will get it done cheap, but if you’re a college kid, you’re young and flexible.

My old ass is still limber enough to bend around the seat and reach the clutch pedal. Not like @macleanflood who has to take the seat out. 😁 But it hurts!

@Murf926 suggested the blue pill, but I’m thinking since your leaking flowmax would be the better choice. 😁

If the linkage did fall off you can put it back in place and zip tie the outside end. I did that several months back as a temporary fix while I ordered a new clip. The clip arrived but Ive never installed it as the zip tie is holding well. I guess I should do it soon.
I learned this trick from someone on the forum. :)
