My 98 sahara is hard to shift gears. Almost impossible at times to get into 1st and 2nd gear. Last time I had a shop replace my clutch and clutch plate it was well over 1000.00. Is this something I can do? Any advice would be appreciated.
Does it get better if you pump your clutch at all? Check the clutch fluid for leaks. Look inside your Jeep behind your pedals for fluid running down from the clutch slave? Check the fluid level.

I just watched some videos on YouTube about the clutch master and slave cylinder. I will check the fluid in the restoration tomorrow. Perhaps it needs to be bled and refilled? Thank you man!
