I did a fund raiser ride yesterday. There was probably 30 Jeeps or so and that many UTV'S. The off-road course went South up and over Montazuma pass and along the western slope of Mount Hauchuca. I've done this trip many times on my own and know most of the trails on the west side of the mountain. We did do a a trail I hadn't found during my exploration of the area. The only thing I didn't like was the pace. It's mostly wash boardy rough and everyone was doing 30ish mph through the whole thing.

I had my gmrs radio and cb on channel 16, and didn't hear any traffic on either? It was nice cool day weather wise and I split off went to my favorite little brewery south of Elgin.
