Coil location?

Where is the ignition coil located on a 1997 4.0 auto?

Yours should have a distributor on the right side of engine. Follow the center cable on the distributor cap. Your coil is on the other end of that cable.

From the top. From the passenger side, looking at your engine the dristributor is about on the center of the 4.0 block.

Ok so they are both on the passengers side?

It's dark outside but here's a picture of my 97. The coil wire is the center wire, and goes to the coil mounted to the engine just forward from the distributor.
