How are you guys in Colorado doing?

I heard 600 homes have burned outside of Denver and some retail shopping areas.

From the news this morning:
580+ homes destroyed, casualties uncertain.
Various businesses and a brand new hotel destroyed.
Winds of 110-115 MPH fueled devastating wildfire.
Fires were started by wind-blown downed power lines.
Cities were Boulder, Superior, and Louisville, all part of the Denver metro area.
So far we've had one of the driest winters ever, setting new records. Less than 1/2" of snow so far.
Today we're supposed to get several inches of snow, a day late and millions of dollars short.

Oh damn. Better check on my cousin that lives along the border of Louisville and Lafayette.

We are 25 miles south west and 3200' higher than the fire.
Thankfully the winds have stopped and it's started snowing !
I was going to attach a snow photo, but I am apparently officially stupid !!!
I have done it before but now have exhausted my tech savvy with no joy!
Have a happy new year ! and Thanks for checking on us !

My cousin is northeast of it. He said a difference of 5-10 degrees in the wind direction would have sent it his way.
