I'm trying to get the dome light working. The C325 connector is just loose going up the roll bar. What I'm trying to find out is how do I get from that connector to the dome light? Before I open up that sound bar (it's a little frail)... do you think I'll find that wiring inside the sound bar? I opened the dome light and the connector that goes up into the sound bar just disappears and I can't trace it.
The speakers were replaced in the sound bar before got the jeep. So, I suspect they may have pulled that wire that goes to the dome light.
I've checked out the dome light connectors and bulb, all seems fine. The courtesy lights under the dash work fine.
Thanks in advance.

The mating plug should be on the drivers side top of the sound bar under the canvas cover near the roll bar connection.

Thanks for the reply!

Around this general area?

I felt around in there as much as I could and didn't feel anything, but I'll definitely do it again. None of the diagrams show the wire nor connector coming from the dome light toward C325.

Should be under the flap to the right of your hand. That's where my bar is connected.

Should be an opening/slot in the metal housing, your not going to feel a loose plug.

Found it!
Found the pink & yellow wires coming out of the slot you mentioned... pushed them into the white connector and the light came on.
I'm in Central FL so our doors and top are off right now and may be for a while. So now I gotta re-do the door switches so the courtesy and dome lights don't stay on. Right now, I have the courtesy lights unplugged under the dash. Those "pull out" door switches are kinda expensive. May try to re-wire from the fuse into a rocker switch next to the ash tray.

Glad you found it. For the door switches just pull Fuse #4 from the glove box panel, that's designed for doors off to defeat the system without affecting dome lite operation

So the fuse is only for the door switches? And the dome light works w/ that fuse out? Not sure I understand. I thought those door switches also controlled the dome light.
Last night I plugged in the 2 courtesy (floor) lights and they came on, as expected. Then I held the dome light wires into the connector, the dome light and it came on. I then pushed in both door switches (well, my sons did since I don't have 4 arms that are all 6 feet long) and all 3 lights went off - 2 floor lights and dome light.
I'll do some more digging, but I thought the dome light was also controlled by the door switches.

And thanks a million, learning a lot!

Edit:
This video explained it!

1 more question about connecting the dome light wires to the connector... it's just the 2 bare wires (no connector) coming from the light. I could cut the connector off and solder the wires w/ heat shrink, etc. or would it be better to NOT cutoff the connector but somehow secure those 2 wires into the connector? I hate to cut that stock connector... Lord knows I'll lose it somewhere and me (or the next guy) may need it down the road. Or am I over thinking it?

I'd just cut the connector off and connect it with a couple spade connectors.
