Corner guards

ok guys I just bought a 2001 tj and it has a big dent on the passenger corner I have to order a new tailgate also I'll post a picture to show but wondering if I put a rear comer guard if it'll cover it up

Corner armor would cover it up. However, the issue is going to be that the corner guard won't mount securely on the edge where it's dented in.

What I would do is try and pop that dent out as much as possible (even if you damage the paint in the process), then put the corner armor on there to cover it all up!

In addition to what Chris stated a new tailgate is not going to help much if the hinges are still out of alignment. The way it is now I doubt you will even be able to mount a new gate.

Just find a junkyard TJ and swap out that body piece.
