Need new brakes for my 2000 wrangler. Lifted with 31s. What's the average cost for brakes? Average labor cost?

Are you oppose to doing it yourself? It's ridiculously easy and really cheap if you do. Just a thought if you're up to it...

Nice looking Jeep, Mellissa! Seriously, you can do your own brake job on a TJ. If you have never turned a wrench, ask around and I'm sure someone will volunteer to help and guide you through the first go-around. Barring that, and depending where you live, it's usually about $100 an axle to have brakes done. Find a reputable local shop that isn't a chain store. Ask around at work and see who does a good job in your area.

Edited to add: Youngest Daughter did the brakes on her '68 Chev pickup truck, with a little guidance from Dad. That was a few years ago, and now she's looking for a Corvette to restore. So be careful, it gets addicting in some cases.
