Dear TJ family, bought my 2005 TJ on February and first thing I had to change Cranck shaft censor, cos it didn't start. And guys in the garage told me that I am so lucky because TJ never failes :)) anyway, today is June 21 and it doesn't start again, crankshaft Censor failed again. I living in Zanzibar İsland, it is an African island, so I had to order that part from Dubai once again. Is it something happening often to you too or is it only my jeep like not to start?

Bad crank sensors account for about 80% of the "crank/no-start" threads here. Many here will tell you to get a Mopar brand sensor, although others have had luck with other brands. Of course if mine fails I'm never more than 15 min from a parts store. But if it's hard for you to get parts due to your location, I would probably say bite the bullet and get the name-brand sensor.
