I installed a LUK clutch kit with a new clutch master and slave when I replaced the NV3550 with a Novak AX15. Everything seems in good order as far as clutch engagement and transmission operation though I do get a dentist drill sound at 2300 - 2700 rpm in every gear if I am floating on the gas. Goes away as soon as I give 'er gas.

The clutch pedal is creaking incessantly when depressed. No, it's maddening to listen to with every shift. It's dead quiet when the Jeep is cold. Once it warms up I am getting a creaking sound when the clutch pedal is depressed and released. Leads me to think it has something to do with the clutch master, slave or the line connecting the two. First thought was the master getting warmed up from engine heat. It doesn't sound like it is coming from the slave and I lubed the plunger pivot point on the clutch pedal.

Any thoughts?

It might be the ball and socket where the clutch rod sits in the piston. It sort of snaps in there. You may be able to squirt something in there with a straw just to see if that's it, and if so you'll have to pull the rod out and put a little grease in there. My old one used to creak but it was failing anyway so I replaced it with a Mopar unit and it's completely quiet now

That's precisely what I was thinking. I have to take it apart to replace the CSS anyway, so I'll give it a shot of white lithium grease.

I had the same issue with mine a few years ago. It would be fine cold then squek once it warmed up. Replaced the master and slave with a new Luk kit and the issue went away.

For closure.. I replaced the master cylinder and slave with a LUK kit.. seems to have solved the issue.
Will update here, if the issue returns
