Is the CE-9701B1 and CE-9701B the same thing other than a $2 zip tie included with the CE-9701B1? Is it a special zip tie?

I would rather use the spiral clip, but I would probably tear up the boot fighting the spiral clip.

When using this boot as a replacement on a TJ/LJ/XJ/MJ/XJ vehicle equipped with our CE-9701 Currectlync Steering System, you will remove the spiral clip that is affixing the old boot to the rod end, remove the old boot, install the new boot and affix the new boot to the rod end with the supplied zip tie.

its pretty long and skinny (the zip tie). I tried using the spiral clips, but got frustrated (and they popped off), so I had to go with the zip tie method and things have been good since.
