Currie / RockJock rear track bar relocation bracket

I'm planning on switching to currie 4" springs and using savvy adjustable control arms here the in the near future. On the Currie website it appears that they have both a trackbar and trackbar relocation bracket. At which lift level/point is the bracket needed? Would I be fine without the bracket (just the adjustable rear trackbar)

Edit: I seen your profile and you have the JKS rear track bar. Are you trying to get the currie track bar? Your Jks TB is good. You’ll just need the bracket.

It's not hard at all to install. It does require welding, but for anyone who can weld, they could have it done in 15 minutes assuming everything was clean and ready to go.

You need the angled version of that bracket after you have installed a cv driveshaft and raised the the rear axle's pinion angle.

If it’s just the angled bracket, you could get the JKS bracket that requires drilling 2 bolts (one on the flat top housing, one on the lower diagonal support of the original housing). There’s also a crush washer that fills the space of the old TB to not destroy the original housing.

You want the relocation once you adjust your pinion at 4” - and yes, an adjustable also helps at that height.

Welding that particular bracket on is a good idea whether it's from Currie or JKS.

Would it be stupid to drive on it with it only bolted on? I know some people that have welders that could possible tack in on after.

Mine (JKS) has been bolted for a year, but I’d prefer to get it welded up. It’s fairly common to have the JKS angled bracket and the lower height OME bracket bolted on. If you have a plan to secure it even more, you should be fine.
