Yep. It's that tight.Even with the front clasps not clamped down? Yikes!

Mine is a factory black diamond top and with the front clasps only hooked in the clasp position it's a bit of work to clamp in the corners, but I can manage by hand.Yep. It's that tight.
Only one since Monday afternoon. No windows yet!Have you had a warm sunny day since you installed it, JJ?

I've done this when I am faced with an, "Uh-oh, tomorrow is gonna be freezing rain" coupled with a "my-top-hasn't-been-up-in-2-months" situation.I draped my top over the roll bar and put a 220v space heater in the Jeep. It was around 50 degrees and managed to get my virgin top on with a lot of cussing.
Oh man, JJ. Where you are - that may be the last warm day until May!Only one since Monday afternoon. No windows yet!
People often misunderstand Colorado. In college, everyone thought it was always cold here. It’s 50s most of this week before a day or so of 70sOh man, JJ. Where you are - that may be the last warm day until May!
You would be amazed by how chaotic the weather can be.Oh man, JJ. Where you are - that may be the last warm day until May!

... sun, rain, snow all in the span of less than few days ...
Often within the span of a few HOURS. Since I moved here 20 years ago, I've seen 60* temperature swings inside a single 24 hour period, and snow in every month except August.
oh yeah, I've seen me some thunder-snow when I worked in Chicago.Come live next to an inland sea. The joke in Michigan is that if you don't like the weather, wait 10 minutes. It'll change.
You have some elevation, so I can't say I've seen summer snow... But I have seen thunderstorms while it's snowing
We’ve had thunder snow in Nashville as well. Pretty cool.oh yeah, I've seen me some thunder-snow when I worked in Chicago.
I mostly copied @NashvilleTJ's idea of removing the lower leg of the door surround. It looks much better.
I only removed the circlip at the hinge and didn't add the slide pin on the tub end.View attachment 273921
If it's too much of a pain to remove the uppers and reassemble, I'll add the second pin.
Thanks!Do u have any pics of your current York setup? I found your how-to thread but was wondering if anything’s changed or if you have any tips for someone doing an install.
Nice TJ BTW!
