Dana 35 carrier cap help

I marked left/right on the carrier caps, but did not mark which is the top or bottom. One side of the cap has a bigger rib then the other side. Im thinking the bigger rib goes toward the carrier/inside?? TAI

You can look at the machined side of the caps and see the correct orientation if you match it up with the housing. Usually part of it is smooth and part of it has machining lines/marks.
