Dash Lights Blinking Along With Turn Signals

I have been having an issue lately where, when the headlights in my 2000 are off, the dash lights blink along with the turn signals. However, when the parking lights or the headlights are on there isn't an issue. Any ideas? I replaced the dash lights with LEDs in 2019 but this just started a few weeks ago. I've linked a video of what's going on.

Additionally I just noticed that the dash lights come on when I depress the brake pedal.

Check the ground connection at the taillights, I think the light housing grounds through the tub. Check the bulbs for one filament touching the other. The bulb could be loose in the socket also. If it is you can remove the bulb and bend the tap in slightly to make better contact.

I replaced the rear brake lights with LEDs, installed the correct relay under the dash, wire brushed out the holes where they bolt into the tub, and cleaned the bolts up. The dash still lights up when I hit the brakes. Any other common problem areas?

Put the stock bulbs back in and see if it has the same problem. If not you answered your own question.

if your dash lights are on so are your park lights. you most likely have a bad ground somewhere.

I pulled apart the dash and don't see any obvious disconnected grounds. Are there any other usual suspects? I did notice one thing which is that the trailer hitch has a broken wire. Could that be the cause of the issue?

Took the Jeep in to a shop for some other things and had them look at this, too. Turns out the culprit is that there's a wiring box for the trailer hitch that got some water in it. I'm going to have to go in and replace it and rewire the box. I just figure I would close out the thread with a solution just in case someone else has a similar problem in the future.
