Hello, I just want to share my experience, as we already know the best way to improve the dash speakers is by replacing the 4x6s with a 5.25, to be able to do that you will need a bracket and this is where I think is part of the best improvement, the bracket that MXT sell makes the speaker aim a bit into the rider instead of the floor so once I made the upgrade I was definitely able to hear the difference, if you are runnning an amp (like I do) there is no much market for the 4x6s that are able to handle good power, so that's another reason to upgrade into the 5.25s, I chose the Polk Audio DB series and they can handle 100 watts RMS and are marine rated (my amp is providing 100 watts rms so they match up). I really recommend you to go for this route, here are some pics before and after.
I may add a foam baffles in the future, not so worried about the bass since I have two 12's subs in the rear... If I add them I'll post the update to let you know if they are worth it or not..
