I can confirm this one bolts directly on to the door strap bolts on my 98. Took all of 5 minutes to install. In the lowest holes it is just barely below the brakes pedal so if you are tall you might want it longer. Im 5’11” and it seems ok. For 15 buck we’ll see. I don’t think it would work on a manual. It sticks out to far.

I installed that exact pedal a few months ago and really like it. Makes a huge difference, especially on longer drives.

"Fits for 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK All Automatic Transmission Models. *Will NOT fit on Manual Transmission Models"

???

Nothing behind the kick panel to drill through? I got mine (Mustang Cobra) and plan to install in the morning. Now how to get it in a comfortable spot first try.

3M VHB double stick tape. Clean both surfaces and stick it. You'll be able put a decent amount of foot pressure on the pedal while driving. Find the spot you like and use a couple big self tapping bolts through the pedal and tape to make it permanent.

This looks like one I got off ebay, love it. I narrowed mine a bit on clutch side for extra clearance

Good idea. And being a big fan of nutserts will probably go that route with the biggest bolt that will fit the bracket.

PO had installed a fancy pants throttle pedal cover so I stayed with the theme - Mustang Cobra dead pedal.

I'm curious if those with dead pedals also have seat risers. I used to want a dead pedal before I put the risers in and now my feet rest on the floor more naturally so I've held off on the dead pedal for now.

Yup, put risers in last week. Found my left foot searching for a perch.
