December 2024 Ride of the Year (ROTY) Contest

Welcome to the third annual Ride of the Year (ROTY) contest! This contest will take all the ROTM winners from 2024 and we will vote for our favorite photo.

Voting starts today and goes until 12 AM MST on December 31st (any votes that come in after 12 AM MST will not be counted).

In order to vote, please use the poll at the top of this page.

The winner will receive a free Black Magic big brake kit compliments of @mrblaine.

Blaine and I have compiled a few things we would like to see from whoever wins this contest:

1. He will consult with the winner to pick the appropriate kit for their TJ.
2. If the winner has a kit already, $500 in cash will be the alternate prize.
3. If the winner has no plans to install and use the kit, take the alternate prize.
4. If the winner chooses the kit, we’d really like to see an installation write-up with photos, even just a basic version.
5. The winner will have 7 days to claim the prize at which point it will be given to the runner up.

In addition, the winner will also receive

• 50% off the purchase of a new TCM / PCM or PCM repair service from Wrangler Fix, compliments of Mark (@Wranglerfix).
• $200 gift card from Tom Wood's Driveshaft, compliments of @Shawn at Tom Wood's.
• Custom "Ride of the Month" graphic that will be displayed in the members signature
• "Ride of the Month" avatar banner (featured under the users avatar with each post)

Hey guys, I received several PMs from folks last night telling me they tried to vote in the ROTY contest but voting was closed 2-hours early. This was not intentional and had nobody mentioned it to me I wouldn't have even noticed. Unfortunately this was an error on my part when setting the close date on the poll.

That being said, I'm extending the deadline for the ROTY contest until 5 PM MST today so that everyone who didn't get a chance to vote can cast their vote. Sorry for the inconvenience but thank you for bringing it to my attention. It should have closed at 12 AM MST and instead it closed around 10 PSM MST.
