I don't really want it to happen! They're like the villains that you're somehow rooting for!

The Americans is the same way. Damn Russian spies that you root for. Part of what makes shows like these so good.

Yep, I agree, that's a great show as well.

And Frank Underwood is just so cunning. Kevin Spacey just nails that role. I love his self-narrative and the breaking of the fourth wall.

A few years ago a company I was with had Kevin Spacey come in to meet with us at our annual meeting. He started his presentation as Frank Underwood and I had chill bumps. His flow into and out of that character was absolutely seamless.

Not surprising at all. He's one of the last great actors if you ask me!

I have a lot of holiday shopping to do this year, most of which will get done on Amazon. Are you saying that if I visit Amazon through any link on this site, you'll receive a commission from the sale? If that's true, I wish I had read this earlier, because I would have been doing it all along. This forum is a tremendous resource to me and I'd like to support in any way I can.

I have not been here in quite some time. I have had to set my TJ aside for months in order to do some important stuff and clear my table, so to speak. Despite my absence I use that Amazon link nearly daily, and some times many times a day. I do not know how much of a difference this makes, but it is easy and costs me nothing.

OK @Chris, I'm using Amazon more and more it seems for various things that Amazon can provide.

The question: Is there a way to set up my Amazon app on my tablet to put the ?tag=wranglerorg-20 on that?

Edited to add: Just modded a shortcut in the browser on the tablet...does the same thing so this is a really low priority question.

Yep, you got it. If you post an Amazon link on this forum it adds that code snippet to the end, so if you make a purchase, I benefit from it. I'm not getting rich (not even close), but it's enough to pay for the server, pay for the software licensing fees, and then maybe pay my cell phone bill, haha. Either way, I greatly appreciate it!

Muchas gracias! It makes a difference. It doesn't cost you anything, and while I don't get rich off it (not even close) it helps pay for the software licensing fees, and then maybe pay my cell phone bill, haha.

By the way, nice to see you again, I haven't seen you on here in a while!

The only way I know of for sure is that if you have the Amazon app installed, click a link on this forum, it should open up your Amazon app (instead of the link in a web browser) I believe (right?) and that will do it. Of course you'd have to come here every time and click on an Amazon link (such as one of the Amazon shopping products in the site footer).

I am not opposed to just flat out donating a sum of my money to the forum every month.

That being said, if even 10% of forum members donated every month, what dollar amount would it have to be to assure that you don’t have to put down your own dime to keep this forum going?

I don't expect anyone to do that. I mean if they wanted to, why would I say no? But at the same time, I don't expect it. That's one of the reasons I do the Amazon thing. I figure if people are shopping on there already, they can just do it through the forum and then it's like a way of supporting the forum without even technically donating a dime.

    Roger that.

I don’t shop on Amazon very often anymore though. What would be a reasonable amount? $10 a month?

Oh yeah, that would be very reasonable (and I would be very grateful). Like I said, not necessary, but very much appreciated.

Maybe if we all pitch in a little extra scratch, @Chris can replace his Duratracs with a real tire...
