Dirt Lifestyle just announced a new fairlead that looks pretty interesting. It doesn't work for me right now, but figured it would be interesting to discuss.

They're not terribly important, after all.

I agree, I still prefer to keep a thimble on mine. It seems like he's marketing it towards people with a hook or the silly factor55 versions.

The difference in exposure to line damage between the Safety Thimble and Safety Thimble fairlead and this thing is not very much at all.
