Do I need an alignment after replacing control arms?

Been searching the threads, but I'm seeing mixed answers. Is it necessary (must do immediately) to have a front end alignment after replacing upper and lower front control arms?

Might as well. It's pretty easy, takes 30 minutes or so.

Twenty minutes of which is rounding the stuff up and taking the front tires on and off.

I just did a driveway alignment recently after replacing most of the steering components. I guess what I'm wondering is will replacing the control arms alter the alignment? I thought they maintained the axle position. No?

If your steering wheel moves you'll need to adjust toe-in and drag link length.
Camber won't change.
Caster won't change if the arms are same length as OE.
