I'm hunting down a squeak that I suspect is in the front end. I replaced the front sway bar links with the Crown RT21033 units (https://www.quadratec.com/products/56004_0019.htm) a while back and never really paid attention to whether the squeak was there beforehand. All control arms are brand new, replaced shocks w/ RS5000X, and Moog sway bar bushings (well greased poly) are a few days old.
I'm wondering if I need to grease the surface of the bottom bushing at all both where the bolt goes through and the surfaces where it is compressed. Or should I have shoved grease inside the top bushing boot? Poly is known to squeak, I know, I got them cause they were available at the time. Can replace with rubber units down the road if needed.
What's the consensus?
