Do the factory springs have a up and down position?

[2005 wrangler X ?]

anyone whose been following me know im TOTALY confused
dropping my 4ich lift to STOCK

I have all 4 stock springs from the previous owner (among other parts)

My question
Do the Stock springs have a up and down position when i put them in

my confusion comes from reading somewhere that some springs get thinner or thicker one way or the other
ive yet to measure the thickness of the stock springs i have but they do have the original tags on them so maybe guessing the writing would be able to be read as they get installed

The front springs have a skinnier coil on top, and the bottom loop sits in a little channel. Can't put them in upside down.

The rear springs can go in either way.
