We also in 1972 had the Magnavision Odyssey video game, basically all different derivates of pong. You had to overlay different screens on the TV, static held it to the screen,

I was born in '73 and have been into video games since there was such a thing. I had a IBM 8088 in 1986, or thereabouts.

Lawn darts is a toy I'll pass on. Has caused an incredible amount of head injuries in children and adults. At least there are much safer versions now.
 
That's one I'd like to forget. One of the tubes let go and caught me right next to my eye. Apparently my late sixties hippie hair allowed me to keep said eye.

Dude, that's so true... those straps would break and whip you across the face or arms. We would just keep cutting them down to even them out when they broke. Soon the straps were only like 3 inches per side. Lol 😂 🍻
