Does antifreeze run through our TJ's A/C compressors?

I chased a leak for a long time that would show up in weird places. It turned out to be just what others have mentioned, a crack in the top plastic cap of the radiator. When pressure tested the coolant system would slowly leak down but no coolant could be seen seeping out. But that is what it was and where the coolant ended up seemed to have no connection with where it was coming from.

Refrigerant does disperse into the atmosphere but the pag oil doesn't and could build up. That said, I think it would be pretty hard to confuse pag oil for antifreeze.

If someone used a leak dye then it can get confusing as I just checked the bottle on my shelf and the clear tube is stained a lovely "antifreeze green"

Go to one of your local auto parts store and rent a Coolant cap pressure tester. Hook it to your Radiator and pressurize the system. Make sure it is toped off. It should push it out the hole, crack or want ever it is that is leaking.
