Does anyone care about billionaires in space

Heard an interesting take on this by a local radio DJ: while it's easy to dismiss space visits by the ultra rich as something we'll never experience, it's important to look at how early plane flights were something mostly reserved for the well off. Continued use allowed innovations and costs to come down to eventually open up the doors for nearly anyone to travel via the sky. Followed up by the innovations generated through space engineering that have trickled down into our everyday life as well as inspiring others to set lofty goals. Mostly paraphrased, but thought it was a different way to look at it.

If you did want to pay attention to something that may not hold your interest but that we should all look at, go dig up that NM Supreme Court decision that allows gas stations to be liable if a drunk driver fuels up at one and then has a wreck and or kills someone. Talk about a fucktard level of overreach.

When I lived in Albuquerque, the former governor tried (unsuccessfully) two times make ignition interlocks mandatory on all NM registered vehicles.

That is scary.

Troy Gentrys’ widow , (the musician that died in a helicopter crash) widow is suing Sikorsky for making an unsafe helicopter.

Some Kids parents are suing Seaworld because the kid got into the killer whale tank and it killed him- said there was no signage- You would think the sign that says “killer whale “ would be enough to keep your water head kid out of the fish tank.
