Does anyone know the proper etiquette for parking a vehicle on the street?

Some towns you can only park on the street for 24hr, or there is odd/even side parking for plowing during the winter.

Either park it in the garage, or get a storage unit and park it there during the winter. A car sitting outside will still rot,
and the brakes will be rusty and stuck by spring unless you move it all the time.

The road we live on ends with a cul-de-sac, and all the plows push all the snow on the road up to the curbs and onto the yards of the houses around the cul-de-sac. I wouldn't risk parking anything on the street.

Do any of your neighbors have parking issues that you could talk to them about ?
I would think that parked in the side yard with a quality car cover is ok.
And if it's covered in snow, it's just covered in snow.
