Might be a dumb question but I'm looking for a soft top boot for when the top is down. On all the websites it shows the back seat folded down. On the 06 wrangler do you need to fold down the seat to put the folded down soft top in a boot.
Any recommendations or o es to avoid?

Thanks

I still have the one that came new with my TJ. I used it during the summer of '98 quite often, but it really is a PITA to put on. I have not used it at all in this century.

I always referred to them as tonneau covers.

Are you talking about something like this?

You are correct. A Tonneau Cover is very different from a Boot. But, I can understand this dilemma. I've looked and could not find an image of a soft top boot for the TJ anywhere on the internet.
This is an original Jeep Soft Top "Boot", in Khaki, on my 2001. The three accessories laying on the bed are storage bags for the door windows on the half door models. They fasten with zippers to the portion of the boot that cover the bow arms.
