Does this sound like a bad throwout bearing ? Update with pictures.

Need some advise from the group. My daughter was driving her 06 Rubicon 6 speed and stated it just started making the screeching sound ( I added video ). To me it appears to be a bad Throw out bearing. Before I start tearing the trans out, wanted to see if the consensus was the same, or something else.

Yeap that sure does sound like it.

Free advice. When you replace it. Do the clutch also. Just because you have everything removed anyway.

Thanks for the quick replies. And I failed to mention I will replace clutch, pressure plate, and pilot bearing while its out.

Update. Ordered parts after pulling everything apart.
The first photo will show the aftermath that I pulled out.
Second photo shows the original, and the Luk clutch kit throwout bearing that is plastic, and the Sachs one I purchased. The Sachs is almost exactly like the original in looks.
The last photo is the additional parts ordered to replace while having it all out. I can put parts numbers if anyone is interested.



Does anyone know the Torque specs on the clutch pressure plate and also the bell housing bolts?
