DrDmoney’s 2000 Jeep Wrangler Sport

More pics of the Front swap. Finished up the rear springs today, made sure I didn’t beat my calipers up cycling my suspension. I had some Delrin pucks that I cut down, drilled, and counter sunk to use for the rear bump stops might have to swap out track bars before the trip.

Looking good. I'm most impressed you got the springs in without a compressor. I still need to pull my rears and cycle the suspension. I'm binding on something. My guess is TB.

Yeah mine is real close to the tank on the axle side at the bolted connection, it’s not rubbing but if it did it would rip the tank. It’s also maxed out on the helm joint. So I’m assuming it’s binding a little.

Got a digital angle finder from Amazon today to set pinion angles. I had whiskey-eyed them after installing the Metalcloak DA Control Arms and they had changed slightly after new springs were installed.
The front checked out fine at 0.0*

The rear was slightly out at 2.2*
I adjusted it to 0.8* below, when I had single adjustable arms I probably would have left it since it wasn’t vibrating.

I clamped a square to the yoke at the u-joint cap then zero it out on the driveshaft, the reading is taken at the square. Make sure the u-joint is oriented at 12 o’clock or your reading will be off.

How do you like the genright tire carrier, I am considering switching from my Rock Hard 4x4 bumper mounted one
I like it, It’s not for someone expecting one hand ease of use, that’s for sure. It keeps the spare up high out of the way. I would get aluminum corners to mount it to, I backed into a pole and dented the tub a little where it’s mounted.

Yea I have alum. corners just wondering if it's a pain to open and close every time you want to get into the rear end of the jeep

If it wasn’t a pain it would probably rattle. It doesn’t bother me, it’s Just two pins and it swings open

So... Are you an expert drone pilot yet?

Well… No But I will still bring it and give it a try
Does it have follow mode? My next question will be how are your video editing skills... I can't wait to see some of the footage from it.

It does have follow me mode, honestly haven’t had a chance to fly it much but it’s real easy to fly. I’ve only destroyed 4 blades so far
May have missed it, what drone are you flying? We bought a bunch of dji phantom 4s and a few higher end ones for my work. We love the phantom 4s
