DrDmoney’s 2000 Jeep Wrangler Sport

So I had a chance to put a few miles on for a good shake down and I’m noticing a little vibration/shake on downshifting from 3rd to 2nd and even more from 2nd to 1st. Going to order some motor mounts tonight as this is more than likely the cause, these are almost 20 years old anyway.

I'll be watching.
Are you watching still?

We'll all be watching lol
You watching too?

How about Double Adjustable Table Stays? Or as I call them “DATS”
So I’ve been trying to get rid of some of the junk in my toolbox and I came across these 10-32, left and right female heim joints and some 3/16” rod from a scale model project (don’t ask) and I thought why not. unfortunately I only had enough for 3 complete rods but another left and right are on order.
I even had left handed nuts ;) to lock the rods and a left hand die to thread them.

The cutting board is a Traeger and it has 6 fairly strong magnets built into it, it won’t do much good on the table but it will store on the tailgate.

Wow that looks aweful. I think you need to move straight to v03 and donate v02. 🤣

Jk. That's looks amazing.

But.... V03 could include a soft drop system and an electric lift (key fob?) I'm confident you're more than capable of pulling it off.

Maybe even LED lights flush mounted into the tailgate to light up the surface activated by lowering the shelf and a light mounted under the table that will illuminate the ground with the DrDmoney logo. 👍

Maybe a mini winch to lower the table lol

When I installed the engine skid plate, I noticed what seemed to be a louder exhaust note. Turns out the plate was still touching the exhaust. I thought it was clear when I swapped the long bracket for the short one and made a longer “long” bracket but it still touched.

I marked it and ran it diagonally across the table saw blade to get a clean radius cut.

Plenty of clearance now.

Installed the Savvy cable shifter today, not much to say about it that hasn’t been said a hundred times. It’s a quality piece and it went in pretty easy.

I also installed a Stahlbus oil drain valve on the oil pan to make oil changes a lot easier. The cap is to keep the crud out, remove it and plug the hose fitting into the valve to drain.

Reinstalled the engine skid for what I hope is the last time. The notch I put in it to clear the exhaust worked well.
