My rear drive line blew the cv part snaped I put a new one on but now my speedometer is not working and randomly spikes to 60 and 100 and on high way now the jeep seems to not like to shift down when accelerating the speedometer goes to 100 jeep up shift then down shift and repeat it’s a 99 automatic tj

Sounds like something damaged the speedometer gear housing in the tail-end of the transfer case. Or perhaps the wiring leading to the speedometer gear housing.
